If we’re on day 50+, and 30+ days into 2012, I think the moniker “Music Marathon 2011” is misplaced. Just sayin’.2011 releases. Heck, Music Marathon 2010 started in early December 2010 and wrapped up in March or April 2011, I think.
With parenthood looming in a few months*, I think this might be the last Music Marathon I do for some time, though.
* Not news to you or the other locals, of course, but this was the First Official Baby reference I’ve made—or that Raina’s made—on Tumblr, believe it or not. So hi, followers I haven’t met in real life: I’m going to be a dad in three months. eeep.

That’s sort of the best/worst part about Tumblr - it’s a Super Happy Imagination Land where you go prancing off and neglect to mention tiny things like your expanding waistline and the fact that you’re pretty sure that your unborn baby has antennae* because you’re too busy posting sleepy bunnies, pleas that Benedict Cumberbatch dress in drag, and screengrabs of your cracked-out IM conversations.
Given my track record here, you’ll probably only be able to tell that the Bloomling** has arrived when you start seeing posts time-stamped between 1 and 5 a.m..
* - And wings. And tentacles, but only sometimes. And maybe fourish arms, Eastern god/ess like.
